Ride Description and Notes:
Loop around beautiful blue Lake Tahoe starting from the transit center in Tahoe City (water and restrooms available). Bring a buddy and ride your own pace. No sweep but we will have periodic regroups +/- every 15 miles. Drop dead gorgeous scenery so bring that camera. We usually stop at Safeway in South lake Tahoe for lunch and refreshment however if that's not your thing then there many other food options in SLT.

Please print your own route sheets or update your navigation computer. Navigation is really simple- keep the lake on your right.

Current weather forecast indicates temperatures at the start in low 50's so bring some layers and be prepared for changeable conditions- late afternoon thundershowers are common although none are in the current forecast.

Sunday rides are at least 40 miles in length, giving moderate level riders the chance to ride a little further than our average distance. You'll find some rides that are flattish and some that are killer hilly. The average pace of the Sunday rides varies hugely based on the distance and the amount of climb. The start location of this ride varies weekly, so check the calendar.
